Seattle Computational Microbiome Research Forum
Microbiome research in Seattle is booming, with increasingly more labs actively investigating the structure, function, and dynamics of the microbiome. One of the crucial components of such studies, however, is computational methods for processing, analyzing, and interpreting high-throughput omic-based microbiome data.

The Seattle Computational Microbiome Research Forum brings together researchers in the Seattle area who are interested in microbiome studies, with a focus on computational methods and multi-omic data analysis. It aims to:
  • Nurture discussion about microbiome data processing, analysis, and modeling
  • Promote collaborative microbiome work
  • Help researchers new to the field identify required resources and expertise
  • Serve as a platform to advance computational microbiome research in the Seattle area
Importantly, this forum is not intended only for 'computational' people, but rather for anyone who is interested in (or who wants to learn more about) computational methods for microbiome data analysis.

The Forum is organized by the Borenstein Lab, and meets once a month to discuss and present various topics in computational microbiome research.

For more details or to join the Forum please email Elhanan Borenstein ().
